SEO Preston #16 – Keyword Research

When I pondered the topic for this week’s SEO Preston blog post, it occurred to me I’ve already covered some of the most in-depth SEO techniques without looking at some of the more basic practices like keyword research.

Without keyword research all other SEO activity is probably going to be useless. It’s very much like walking around with your eyes closed – if you don’t know the relevant keywords for your site and you’re not aware what people search for, how can you hope to drive traffic and see conversions? SEO in Preston #15 – Pay-Per-Click Week

It’s been pay-per-click week in the offices of Custard Media, the number one source of SEO in Preston.

Or at least it has for me. In my two months working at Custard PPC has been mentioned a number of times and I have to admit that the idea of spending other people’s money was a little daunting.

However, after a training seminar with one of our directors on a client’s site, followed by a more hands-on look at another client’s pay-per-click SEO in Preston campaign with account manager Matt, trepidation has turned to excitement as the clicks roll in.
